New Beginning!

In a blink 0f eyes, the first week of school has passed. Everything is so different from highschool. I love U of T, but it seems it doesn't love its students :) The school started on last Tuesday, and I got 3 quizs last Friday. And every peofessor has already gave out the schedule for big tests of the year!

Come on! Wake up! High school is over, the summer is over! It is a new journey now!

Not until we get into an university, we don't start to realize how nicely teachers were treating us in high school. I now understand why we should keep our essays concise, for that I need to answer so many questions within 500 words for history. ~~~~~~~~~~

In general, university is not fun( of course you can still have fun..). But THE most important thing to me is that I finally found the missing feeling in terms of learning! Here I'm just a student. Not the 2010 Top Student of SBS, and nobody cares how great you were in hingh school because everybody here introduced them starting with "I graduated with honors."

Yeah, this is what I'm talking about! It might sound crazy, but I'd rather being a student with no title(hope it's for now) than being the best. I love my high school class mates, I love being with them, but what I care the most is this feeling that makes my blood boiling!

Imagine, you are being with thousands of students like you yourself, life Mariah, like Outlaw, like Joy...(I guess I don't need to put Johnson here :). It will be tough, but from another POV, this is the fun part for me. Here you will see top students from 55 nations, you'll meet all kinds of
intelligent students from all over the world( there is this Iranian dude scored 2100+ on SAT, I like it!) You'll meet Canadian students with 90+ GPA(bring it!). This is what university means to me. Screw the Top Student Title! I want this!

Sigh... I survived the very first week.

Hi~ho! Silver!

  1. LOL - very interesting post, Sir Allen. It was a fun read until the unnecessary profanity in the end. =)

I'm glad you enjoy the feeling of learning... it's great!! I'm also learning as well.

And why not try to be the best? Everyone around you is trying to be the best as well... you should always try.

Finally - yes, the teachers you meet in high school are always nicer. =) And they try really hard to prepare you for university. Yup....

Have a great weekend. Keep updating!!!
