Luckily I've started making some new friends. Remember the Iranian guy I mentioned? I guess I'll rely on him to help me fix my notes(since I hardly ever took notes in high school). And I met this wonderful guy from nothern Ontario who's called Andrew. He's a French Canadian, but I think hsi French is worth than my English(you know what I'm talking about).
Andrew is a really nice friend and a really hardworking student. He keeps up with the tons of assigned reading everyday(you were right, Mr. Ramsey, 1984 is just a piece og cake in comparison to readings in universities). The best thing about him is, he has a car! Last weekend he and I were drving around the GTA, I bought some moon cakes for the upcoming festival first, and we went to a cool shop that sells all kinds of model airplanes near Pearson. And yesterday evening he just sunddenly came to my room and pulled me away from my laptop, and he took me to a wonderful Chinese Buffet restaurant Called Mandarin, besides Chinese food they serve all kinds of other food there. The cafeterias on campus are good, but this restaurant is just WOW!
My roommate(actually we are more like bathroom mates because 2 single rooms share one bathroom) Nicolai is a cool guy from Munich, Germany. He likes both soccer and basketball just like I do. Hence, we will always go to the gym to shoot some balls together. Last time we were playing 1 on 1, 5:3 he won the first leg, but I came back with a 5:0 in the second leg.
So far so good, how's your life going whoever is reading?
All's well!

New Beginning!
In a blink 0f eyes, the first week of school has passed. Everything is so different from highschool. I love U of T, but it seems it doesn't love its students :) The school started on last Tuesday, and I got 3 quizs last Friday. And every peofessor has already gave out the schedule for big tests of the year!
Come on! Wake up! High school is over, the summer is over! It is a new journey now!
Not until we get into an university, we don't start to realize how nicely teachers were treating us in high school. I now understand why we should keep our essays concise, for that I need to answer so many questions within 500 words for history. ~~~~~~~~~~
In general, university is not fun( of course you can still have fun..). But THE most important thing to me is that I finally found the missing feeling in terms of learning! Here I'm just a student. Not the 2010 Top Student of SBS, and nobody cares how great you were in hingh school because everybody here introduced them starting with "I graduated with honors."
Yeah, this is what I'm talking about! It might sound crazy, but I'd rather being a student with no title(hope it's for now) than being the best. I love my high school class mates, I love being with them, but what I care the most is this feeling that makes my blood boiling!
Imagine, you are being with thousands of students like you yourself, life Mariah, like Outlaw, like Joy...(I guess I don't need to put Johnson here :). It will be tough, but from another POV, this is the fun part for me. Here you will see top students from 55 nations, you'll meet all kinds of
intelligent students from all over the world( there is this Iranian dude scored 2100+ on SAT, I like it!) You'll meet Canadian students with 90+ GPA(bring it!). This is what university means to me. Screw the Top Student Title! I want this!
Sigh... I survived the very first week.
Hi~ho! Silver!
